Alive so sunny skies above
Blue in the air feels like love
Dead of winter curiously bright
Far away places fashion flight
Sweetly presents her opening charms
Parting shots then hearts aswarm
Enter then pass through nameless game
To center stage's ribbon of fame
Tenderly trod making rounds
Inside track smooth tropic grounds
Twists and turns the saga takes
Unwilling stars soon she makes
Through all this love hearts endure
A little match of big adventure

ReplyDeleteNice poem. I wonder sometimes why people run 26 miles in the rain. Other animals run for survival...we run as if for self sacrifice over a cause or for a proof of something. I wonder what the cats at the Honolulu Zoo (next to the finish line) thinks of us :)
