Phantom of the Holiday

Aloha poets,
Phantom appears in water blues and tropical green of the holiday
season. Inspires today's poetry. Enjoy!

Laundry Launched

Impervious nervous enticed by doomsday mushrooms
Phantoms and zombies advertising advice that zooms
Buttoned up ready against the spread standing watch
End daze and hard times seek out in their own hutch

Stick figures sell tickets buttered up and bullying
Rude awakening in elections a dilly dally tallying
The act of uncleanliness clearly cleans new clocks
Industrial indestructible wears a crime as new socks

Going green with clean energy sparks a panic of words
Diversity depends on pathos noir and the poetics of swords
Discrimination development, america neighborhoods back lot
Wraps up like this, reclaims the power as if a favorite family plot

Incarceration cancer finds its way as a documentary story
Aspects of speculation feeds a frenzy in diets of worry
Backtrack streams of eclectic lead to pride battles
Go Zone of earth begins with children rattles

At what stage did mother lose her reason?
To promote prompt attention to season
And like those tears that easily flow
Our laundry launched years ago
