A mix of the obscure stays glued to the screen
Knowing patrons and useful idiots make the scene
Nondescript neighborhood is where it all starts
Creativity has many faces to break many hearts
Storebranded implements to clarify, to catch up
On lollipops and firewood's lopsided matchup
Part of the appeal is their zombie and robo
Screening rooms and projector booths, fun to go
Promotion for a show wonders where everyone went
Such an unlikely place to stage such a likable event
Creativity alley runs along its own concrete wall
Top secret venue accessible at mind's beck and call
A frantic corner cutting cuts its own swath
Programming directors fire their own boss
The reluctant knowable steps up to the plate
Creativity goes dark with less love, more hate
No advertising, no marquee finds its own way
Hollywood endings still wander and stray
Aventure comes knocking, seeking animation more
Little neighborhood on the Southside there's a little door
Creativity work the feeder, enthusiasm the chore
Money on the book into the business of more
Locations serve customers, survive old bank glut
Creativity and truth detonate no donuts, simply put
