Blue Hawaii Pumpkin Hues

Aloha poets,
Colors of halloween pumpkins and blue water splashes in Hawaii
halloween season inspire today's poem. Enjoy!

The Collective

Alien alternative energy emerges with its slow deepening calm
Algorithms submerge to conquer, worlds ask,"what's wrong?"
"Unintended" is the watchword taken to within Nth degrees
Free press defended by china elders the horizon says it sees

Advertising has its strengths, in our hearts we know the truth
Nobel Peace Prize's  Liu Xiaobo, for unborn chinese youth
Business as usual, The Collective holds the world at bay
State-run news Xinhua small thoughts try to hold sway

Celebrities gather to exude simple freedoms of speech
Central Propaganda depersonalizes within an elite reach
"New phase of opening up," can regimes ever be a "party?"
It's our own pumpkin chronicles that's kept America hearty

Comedy, change Standing Committee's no laughing matter
Starts with freedom of the press, then debate with a chatter
Add entertainment to your screen without algorithm spatter
Entrepreneur moves in environment where freedom's fatter

Everybody does their group's will when career is full throttle
Too intellectual? go to china prison or countryside with a bottle
Mutual suspicions bounce around, and can cause the inadvertent
Mobile thoughts emerging from The Collective's minority elite tent
