It wanders amongst our minds in coffee's houses
Knows your own people as more than mouses
In steady streams of youth to centenary bond
With comings and goings we grew so fond
Descendants offer quotations and idiom
Worlds filled word's mighty kingdom
Madden or tantalize as messages go
Hopes ideas for america to know
Musician poet, critic as hunter
Does it really matter to often blunder?
If Sam could give a message, what would he say?
Coffee houses and coffee remains the mainstay
Biography, it appears as if everyone has one
Death's choice selects freely its own gun
Yet humanist poets continued arrival
Hopes to ensure america survival
Things aren't always fair, yes that's true
With military peasants in nature's wild blue
And tragedy collects to make life more absurd
Personal connections advance with words heard
Longwindedness may assert itself as a new jester
Humanists need only a look, a sound, or gesture
Fatalistics scream with salesman sweet charm
Life's glimmers of redemption, fires so warm
Happens to love great thoughts written down
Without fear of reprisal by life's security clown
Or anti artistic types who have scattered around
Longwinded wildernesses grows on free ground
Spearheaded by marshmallows all rhetoric floats
Variety of quality rides aboard freedom's boats
Deep into your sails, your voice rises to steer
Facets of life for its shores, america here
