Flower Garden Spooky

Aloha poets,
In keeping with spooky halloween season. here's a haunting flower
garden that inspires today's poetry. Enjoy!

Frontier Culture Club

Competition counts and drifts into its foggy future
Unwillingness to wait leads to system soggy suture
Stagnation hangs low as if heavy trees with big fruits
Technology enters with cool bravura, guns, and boots

Pharmaceuticals arrive with peacock feathers and all
Robotics follow suit without suits to make the call
Artful intelligence goes artificial into the wall
Techno goes nano then begins slow crawl

Bets go down as to the direction of lifestyles
Wealth grows somewhere beyond local turnstiles
Prefrontals with images for speculation's taste
Earth in rear view mirrors exudes its waste

In our vast America there seemed so much space
Android system humans devour once a pretty place
Cosmetic surgery and screens cover creepy interface
Print more money just to stay on pace with the race

Winners and losers the imaginary divider curtain
Unregulated computers keep nothing at certain
Politics grow contentious in leaps and bounds
Singularities lurk contentious off the grounds

Bright futures rest inside only investor's minds
Professors reel in students under wings and blinds
Capitalists venture to gather as vultures circle overhead
Entrepreneurs rise by morning thank system's not yet dead

Put your next bet down on the productivity of new world
Hope your bet is affordable as technology does its twirl
Giddy the rest, bet on cheap energy thought found
Living standards erected on new soggy ground

Failure's central idea is to have a winner
To invite a bright future over to dinner
To build contexts where nothing is
On foggy horizons frontier fizz

Such a sweet story to be so naive
Systems of story therefore to believe
Frontiers open for people to rise a stand
Exceptional is expected across this west land

Who are they to say a welfare state shines the way?
Can technology and computers hold stagnation at bay?
And what about social security and all that medicare talk
War conscripting our best technology is the true global clock
