A Face in the Cloud

aloha poets,
Can you see a face in these clouds? ..Inspires today's poem.   Enjoy!

Destin Pass Skims Past Destiny

And so it goes for the Emerald Coast
Brutal honesty conquers those who boast
Even a small slick finds a way to pillage
At "The World's Luckiest Fishing Village"

Emerald-colored waters a little more green
Crude oil on white beaches make the scene
More than "...a few tar balls.." find the shore
Destin Pass, quiet safe haven no more

Somewhere out there with a hurricane surge
Tar patties incoming, beach beauty to purge
More oil offshore than boats was the key
Destin Pass now history on Day70
