Waikiki Beach v. Yellowstone Park in Homestretch for "Best Destination in America"

Yellowstone Forest, the beach of Waikiki

America loves her forests and beaches
We go out there to the far reaches
Industrial poop is what we abhor
Be a Roughrider, protect our shore

Waikiki Beach stands crystal blue
Yellowstone forest holds a nice hue
We really have to pick between the two?
Your best destination is a clear view of you

Headwaters of culture is really what counts
Before industry scrapes, be ready to pounce
Contingency plans, we need to hold them to it
Not throw up our hands,"Well, we blew it."

It's not too late to sing of destiny
Teddy Roosevelt wanted America free
Industry so big and the hurt it enforces
Why run a race if it kills all your horses?

Come on people try to look try to see
That hole in the earth can kill you and me
Competition is good, but go on a little spree
To Yellowstone forest and the beach of Waikiki
