Paddlers Blue Coastal

Aloha Poets,
Blue coastal water inspires today's poem. Enjoy!

Blue Waters of Humility

Mildness amidst the wildness brings game
Blue waters so cool teeters on fame
Pride held vest close never can rest
BP's "Beyond Prudence," we only guess

There is this one thing we can feel
The sheer softness of oil on a wheel
Encroaching our lives all disguised
BP's "Bad Premise" now realized

Here in Hawaiian waters of hue
We stand in pride of our blue
Ha'aheo is also proud island green
BP's "Burly Pride," only oily sheen seen

Depictions of paradise stay true
Suddenly our seas here are still blue
BP "Brings Pain," for what gain?
Ha'aheo, Hawaii proud splendor remain
