Flower Whisper

aloha poets,
Flower whisper inspires today's poem. Enjoy!

Impressive Impressionistics

In the art of writing the topic of "subject" comes to mind
A reprised vessel of being that hides, but isn't blind
Imagines in sensitivities and sometimes peppered in fear
The subject of "topic" to some writers swings clear

To mix and blend narration with speeches
Character's thoughts wander off to different beaches
The kind of style where readers charter a boat
That drifts with the logs and begins to just float

Where characters dangle as their new horizons blink
Into the void of dream, readers hope the boat won't sink
Requesting emotion, yet speech wanders to the extreme
To investigate it own possibility in glows of moonbeam

Where imagination expresses in sympathy and doubt
Emotion sits in the corner and can only cry out
As impressionistic prose frees the protagonist to wander
So goes the reader, gracefully joining to take a gander

Story is there, so they say, to be taught and be told
Impressionism regards "subject" to be the most bold
Between character and topic, let the battle begin
Impressionistic storytelling casts fates to the wind
